Tally woke up, disoriented and tired. Okay, she was obviously back on earth... that was- What the heck?! Totally dizzy-making, was she back in the Rusty times? Which meant it was in the year 2009. Looking at her nails and feeling her teeth she found she was still a twenty year old Special. Last of her kind... but Rusty times? Seriously, you had to be kidding. Anger boiled up in her as she realized she had been shot back in time, by the orbit that was meant to bring her up to another sub planet. Great. She kicked out at a table and it's leg came clean of smashing into the wall and splintering into a million shards of wood. Breathing in and out she reminded herself. "Stay icy Tally." Shay would usually say that, but Shay wasn't here now was she? Neither was David... or any other Special's. Her hoverboard wasn't working at the moment either.
Sighing she jumped out of her window, landing on her feet she walked down the street. Broad daylight and in the streets of Manhattan, naturally a busy place. Totally inconspicuous. Not. She had her full sneak suit on that was black armour plate mode. Not much could scratch through this suit. Her cruel eyes flashed and her flash tattoo's spun with her heart beat. She was inhumanly beautiful, yet still human. She was just downright pretty. But she had the grace of a predator. Anyone could see that she was dangerous, and oh when she was mad... you just didn't want to be near her... unless you had a death wish.

I walked down the street of Manhattan in the middle of daylight with meant a hood or hat, felling all the glares and whispers in the humans minds, it was weird i have been a vampire for 26 years, but im technically 15, you still can not get use to it, when i notice one 'voice' did not think like a 'human' i looked around then looked straight at her. Right away i could tell it was not a human. i keeped on walking, New York was bit to sunny for a vampire and i was planing for a move too i just didn't no any place yet that was not sunny.
I looked back she was still there, and could not take my eyes of that non human, she fascinated me, i could not find out what she 'was' you could say.

Feeling an inhuman gaze on me, I stopped in my tracks, snapping my head around to look at her. Nope definitely not human. Not a Pretty, not an ugly. A girl, very pale. In Rusty history they had called this blood red lipped, pale skinned, hungry predator like people... vampires. As if she could hurt me. Turning my steady cruel gaze on her, I turned on my Skintenna with a flick of my finger. Blue technological wires flashed in my eyes. Weird cyborg like, to a Rusty human anyway. Her name was Luna Bella De Souza, she supposedly died when she was fifteen, twenty six years ago. She would've still been an ugly had I not changed the world. I turned off my Skintenna and walked up to this 'vampire'.
I didn't hide my inhuman quickness, flashing to her side I stared her in the face. Baring my canine lethal teeth like grin. All of my teeth were canines. "Tell me Luna, why do you listen to others thoughts?" Yep, I knew that too.

I was distracted when i felt a gaze on me, it was the human which i found out by her thoughts where Tally, she then walked up to me and by her thoughts she new a lot a but me more than i knew anyone could know she then walked right up to me, her next word well question surprised me,"Well i don't listen because i wont to i was 'born' his way", i whisper as fast as a vampire would knowing she would hear and understand.
Looking up i was happy to notice the sun was setting so i put my hood down revealing more if my self.

I laughed, the legends also said that vampires were made not born. They died in a respect. Leaning on a pole I watched her. " 'Born' you mean 'made'. It's in all of the Rusty books that I read when I was an ugly." I knew this would probably be confusing to her seeing as I was born in the future, when all Rusties had died because of stupid warfare. Oops. I brought warfare back to the future. Oh. "So vampire, what makes you want to be out in Manhattan?" Seeing as it was moderately sunny here. My flash tattoo's spun and all of my scars stood out on my arms, a few on my wrists.

I watched as she leaned in to a poll, i was comfortable just standing in one position for ever but i moved so the humans wont be suspicious, she also looked strong like a vampire,"Well we vampire call it born because it like a new life," i giggle,"and im actually passing by looking for a new city with less sun" i was reading her mind while we talked, i learned that she was from the future and that she thought this wold confused me i laughed again.

My anger boiled up again, she kept reading my thoughts, I really hated that. My eyes flashed viciously and my flash tattoo's spun faster, in time with my anger and heart beat. I was trying not to lash out, but I had been angry before so... there was no stopping this one. Instead of lunging for Luna, which I didn't want to do... ok maybe I did but that's not the point. I bent the light pole down back on itself by kicking at it real hard. A loud crack sounded through the air, okay I had just fractured my leg. Lovely. I was human I could get broken.

I was surprised that she did that one because it broad daylight and people where now staring at us, and two she has hurt her self, god."Are you OK, do you need help?'' i was trying to control the burning in me now i was a bit to close maybe but my shock was over ruling it .

My eyes flashed again, I was leaning over the pole that had bent over on itself, trying to control the anger. "This is what I get for agreeing to staying like this." I whispered to no one in particular. Then the anger was gone and my flash tattoo's slowed and were regular again, with my now regular heart beat. "The break will clear up in a few minutes." I replied to Luna, my eyes still closed.

That's when i noticed she had a choice for what she was, anger flashed in my eyes, she could go back to normal if she wanted, then i started to clam down i had no proof of this,"Well i guess your kind is a fast healer." i tried to giggle but anger was still present in my voice and eyes.

Knowing that she was angry and thinking I had a choice to become what I was, that made me pity her, and get me angry again. "Look Luna, I didn't have a choice. My friend got me into becoming a Pretty when I no longer wanted to." That was the whole truth. "Then I wanted to stay Pretty or go back to being an ugly. But no, I messed up and she hated me. She made me into this," I gestured around myself and the pole. "and then she turned herself back into a pretty, without the anger issues." This wasn't helping my case but the next part would. "The evil creator was turned back by me, and her dying plea was for me not to let her creations go extinct." It was all becoming clearer. "I was the only one left and now I can't turn back. I'm what I am because I was forced to become it and I can't ever go back to my time." My eyes flashed with anger again. Showing her my scars I went on with my rant. "I used to cut myself, alot of Special's did, to keep my anger under control but I stopped because it's not good. And now I have no one to say," I looked away and then coincidentally had to calm myself down. "Stay Icy... Tally-wa." I finished and looked away, Special's couldn't cry, we just physically couldn't. "I can't stay in my time and you can."

She talked about how she had no choice, it reminded me of me, i felt sympathy for her, my eyes started to feel funny i knew it was 'tears' but vampire counts cry physical, i listened to see if that made her feel better i under stood her," I know how you feel some one turned me into this because he," I spat the word,'' loved me, apparently, but he killed all my family so i ran from him and tried to restart my life." i stood there with anger in my eyes again for that man ...vampire.

Tally looked at Luna and shook her head. "I don't know how to act around here." She replied, then turned the pink metal bands on her wrists. They lit up and almost instantly her hoverboard was at her side, people stared again. She leaped onto the board and wasn't even thrown off balance. "Need to get somewhere?" She asked Luna with a cruel smile. "I've already broken rules, might as well do this too." She circled Luna on her board, now this was better this was my way.

I watched, her she was confuzed, but i gasped as she took out her hover board,"You do know humans can find out whaty you are if you keep giving them guesses, and i would rather run by you, the humans will only feel wind and see a blur," i smile again ready for a good run, i probably would not be back in this town after i leave so one broken rule is not so bad.

Tally barked out a cruel laugh. "FInd out what I am? Ha! I am human and no human has seen or heard of a Special unless they came back from the future." She replied. "But okay, if you think you can keep up." I sped off zero to some ridiculous speed straight down the street. Tally swung around a pole and stepped off of her board, the metal track had stopped, and everything had powered out, she hadn't charged her board in a while.
