Welcome to Multi X. Before you start your roleplaying adventure, make sure you read these simple rules so that this site can be a great place for everyone
Out of Character
1. Treat the others the way you wanna be treated
2. Be active, I know we all have lives but if you signed up for the fourm you should be dedicated to it. Getting on at least three times a week is all I ask if you can't do that let us know in the introduction and absence board
3. If you are new to the concept of message board roleplaying and need help, please don't hesistate to contact Alexandra Cabot
4. Have fun
5. Graphics you have should be appropriate and should NOT stretch the page
Character + Roleplaying Rules
1. You can have as many characters as you want all I ask is that you make different accounts for different characters, makes things a whole lot easier
2. If you make two girls your next character should be a guy its so that we can keep males and females on the site somewhat even
3. You cannot roleplay until your name have been changed to a color and you get the letter saying (rules word:lowdown) you may do so
4. When you make a post I expect you to post at least a paragraph that means five sentences. I'm assuming we all passed fifth grade so we should be able to manage that.
5. Long posts are good but remember quality over quanitty. I rather see you make one solid good roleplay paragraph than several paragraphs of nonsense
6. Spelling and grammer counts, an error or two is okay but if the other person can't understand what you are saying I dont see why you are roleplaying in the first place.
7. Dialogues in quotation marks, periods and commas in appropriate places please.
8. Cursing's fine although not every other word, violence is fine but not too much we all have self control right? it dosn't have to be all nice and fuzzy this is a vamperic site and slayers are here so I expect fights and encourage em but don't go overboard
9. Speaking of fights, you cannot be all powerful in them. You can't dodge every attack not even slayers can and vampires even got limits. With that rule comes this one NO PERFECT CHARACTERS. Humans are not perfect by any means so why are we making our characters that way? if your character is a fire demon his weakness better be water. If your character is a vampire he better DUST!
10. No go modding, god modding or power playing is this. Say I am in a thread with Buffy. Here's what I CANNOT DO.
Alex sighed in frustration and picked up her law book and threw it letting Buffy get hit with it.
This is a big NO NO weather Buffy gets hit with it or not is her choice. But I can do this
Alex sighed in frustraition and picked up her law book to throw it. She hoped it would hit Buffy.
You got me?
These rules are subject to change and if you need help understanding anything that's written here do not hesistate to contact Alexandra Cabot. Thank You and have a wonderful day
